New One Year Teacher Certification Program
CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Source4Teachers, a national educational staffing solutions firm, recently partnered with New Pathways to Teaching in NJ and New Jersey City University to create a faster and easier way for people to become a licensed teacher without having to complete a traditional training program.
New Pathways to Teaching in New Jersey offers a statewide alternate route teacher preparation program for candidates who already possess a bachelor’s degree and a Certificate of Eligibility. Classes will be offered by the New Jersey City University, both online and in person to ensure participants can finish the certification process in one year.
Source4Teachers will host open houses in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. Dr. Fran Levin, New Jersey City University’s academic director for New Pathways for Teaching in New Jersey, will be present at all open houses to give candidates a complete understanding of the program and the opportunities available to fast-track a teaching career.
Open houses will take place at the following dates and locations:
- Monday, November 18 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Middlesex County College, located at 2600 Woodbridge Avenue in Edison. The open house will be in the College Center in the Corral room.
- Tuesday, November 19 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Brookdale Community College, located at 765 Newman Springs Road in Middletown. The open house will be in the Student Life Center. For more information or to RSVP to an open house, contact Source4Teachers at 856-482-0300.
