Kendley Davenport has led the education service provider to now rank among Philadelphia SmartCEO’s 50 fastest-growing mid-sized regional companies.
CHERRY HILL, NJ – Kendley Davenport, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Source4Teachers, a leading national provider of educational managed solutions in K-12 schools, has been named a recipient of the 2017 Future 50 Awards by Philadelphia SmartCEO. The program recognizes Greater Philadelphia’s 50 fastest-growing mid-sized companies as demonstrated by a combined three-year average of revenue and employee growth.
“This award is really a testament to the hard work our substitutes are putting in for students in classrooms nationwide,” Davenport said. “Without their commitment and diligence, Source4Teachers’ services would not be in such demand and we would not be honored for our growth. I’d like to thank each of them, as well as our entire team, for their contributions toward making this great honor a reality. We look forward to going even further in the years ahead.”
Over the three-year evaluation period (2013 – 2015) Source4Teachers’ combined average annual revenue increased by 165% due in large part to the continued expansion of its roster of school district partners, which grew by 186% across five states. Each day, the organization now fills more than 6,500 daily and long-term school vacancies for more than 250 partners serving one million students.
As a result of the growing demand for their services, employment levels at Source4Teachers have significantly expanded as well. During the three-year evaluation period, the organization added 75 corporate employees and more than 30,000 qualified substitute teachers, substitute paraprofessionals and educational support staff to its team.
“From growing a startup to scaling an established organization, this year’s Future 50 winners have executed their growth strategies year after year,” said Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, President of SmartCEO in a news release. “More impressively, they have created job opportunities and fueled economic prosperity in our region. These passionate and driven entrepreneurs embody the true definition of leadership. We honor them for their unwavering commitment to building their businesses, shaping our communities and making our region a better place to work and live.”
Recognized with several awards for its entrepreneurial vision and growth, Source4Teachers has become a national leader in the educational services space. The organization is a two-time recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s South Jersey Entrepreneur Award, has received the Best Place to Work Award from both the Philadelphia Business Journal and South Jersey Biz magazine and recently placed seventh on the Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) 2016 List of the nation’s top ten fastest-growing staffing firms.
The 2017 Future 50 winners collectively generate nearly $4.84 billion in annual revenue and employ 25,272 individuals throughout Greater Philadelphia. The group was recognized in SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at an awards ceremony on January 17, 2017. Davenport accepted the award at the ceremony accompanied by Source4Teachers Vice President of Marketing Owen Murphy.
