Education service provider strengthens senior workforce with the addition of an experienced Director of Business Development
Cherry Hill, NJ – Source4Teachers, a national leader in educational staffing and management, today announced the hire of Fred Bentsen as Director of Business Development. His responsibilities will consist of pursuing K-12 partnerships with school districts in Texas, Arizona, Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Wisconsin.
“For more than 25 years, Bentsen has led marketing and operations, and has built numerous successful partnerships on behalf of some of the most successful organizations in education including The American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC), Vantage Learning and The Princeton Review,” said Source4Teachers’ Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Hall. “Having spent the bulk of his career helping school district leadership find solutions to a variety of operational challenges, he is well-equipped to lead our expansion through the Central U.S.”
Bentsen is a frequent speaker at K-12 Education Conferences and has published several whitepapers on best practices for education transformation. At APQC he worked on process efficiency with 150 school systems across the United States and Australia, saving them over $125 M in 6 years. At Vantage Learning he led a team of 30 focused on raising student achievement in English-Language Arts across the United States.
Additionally, Bentsen has been recognized regionally and locally for the volunteer time he dedicates to Education-related causes. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Friends of Texas Public Schools and as a regular volunteer in Cypress Fairbanks ISD where his two daughters attend school. Bentsen graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and later studied at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. He resides in Cypress, Texas.
